Taylor head steady

I installed a Dave Taylor head steady on my bike years ago and being frugal (cheap) I bought the kit without the spring setup. Anyone know if the parts can be had separately? Are the MK 3 spring and associated parts the same? I don’t know how much of a difference it might make but I would like to try it.
