| Corbin Seat Adding this seat
to my Commando has transformed it in many ways. This is something I should
have done years ago. The bike handles differently, is more comfortable,
and in my opinion looks much better. The old one fits on in a snap if my
girlfriend wants to go for a burn. Turn Signals (Indicators) I don't like them. I'm just trying to be legal! The rear ones keep getting loose, and I'm concerned one will short out and blow the main fuse when I'm crossing lanes at 90MPH so I don't use them too much. They are after market ones. I had a look at the original Lucas and they are just as bad. I am trying some special locking stuff with the spring washers etc. to see how that works. I will probably have to get some new stems turned up/made with threads capable of using nylock nuts- Then I feel it will be OK. New Bars I love these bars. They are not too low or too high, and are just right with the Corbin. I am in the process of having a new hose made up for the front brake, and throttle cable. The brake assembly is too close to the yoke for my liking. I am currently investigating the possibility of changing to a different kind of brake assembly as with all controls. Its a big decision, as I'm going away from original set up now. The bottom line is I ride the bike hard and need to have it set up right!!
